        Ashwini,

        You did not properly install opennebula. Hope you followed my document.
        Are you sure that you installed OpenNebula in /var/lib/one?
        Are you sure that /var/lib/one is owned by oneadmin:oneadmin?

        Check the line ./install.sh -u oneadmin -g oneadmin -d /var/lib/one in the document for more help.

    OpenNebula – Beginners guide to HOOKs 

    OpenNebula 3.4 Beginners guide to HOOKs.

    OpenNebula is simple, user friendly but powerful. In my experience what looked so complicated in other cloud deployment applications have started looking and behaving much easier and simpler in OpenNebula.

    Kudos to everyone involved in designing and programming this wonderful application.

    This tutorial aims to demonstrate using hooks with OpenNebula.

    • A “hook” is defined by:
    • EVENT: The event that will trigger the execution of the hook. Predefined events are, VM states (BOOT,RUNNING etc)
    • ACTION: The command that will be executed. The action can be:
      • Pre-defined: For example, restart, destroy…
      • Custom: a command
      • Local: the action is executed in the ONE frontend
      • Remote: the action is executed in the remote host
    • Several hooks may be defined for the same action. The hooks should be defined at the daemon level, but also VM’s can defined custom hooks.

    OpenNebula VM : Windows XP

    OPENNEBULA 3.4.1 – LEARN TO SETUP HIGH-AVAILABILITY WITH UBUNTU 12.04 , MYSQL, DRBD and HEARTBEAT

    Friends, this tutorial teaches you to setup a OpenNebula 3.4.1 HIGH-AVAILABILITY environment but with minimum hardware resources and some easy steps.

    “High availability” refers to the practice of keeping online resources available through node failure or system maintenance.
    I am using just 2 VT enabled Intel Xeon Servers and a normal Intel dual core Windows XP laptop with 2GB Ram for having remote sessions and VSphere client.
    MySQL,DRBD and Heartbeat packages already available with Ubuntu 12.04 will be used, so that installation and setup will be a bit easy.

      Hello Sir,
      When i put this following command it show like this..

      command: drbdadm create-md r0

      result: ‘r0’ ignored, since this host (server-one) is not mentioned with an ‘on’ keyword.

      And Just i show the following command output:

      root@server-one:/# drbdadm up all
      WARN: no normal resources defined for this host (server-one)!?

      root@server-one:/# cat /proc/drbd
      version: 8.3.11 (api:88/proto:86-96)
      srcversion: 71955441799F513ACA6DA60

      root@server-one:/# drbdadm disconnect r0

        Hello Sir,

        To configure onevmhost part i cannot mount /var/lib/one

        command: sudo mount /var/lib/one

        but is show like:

        mount.nfs: access denied by server while mounting 192.168.2.174:/var/lib/one

        Give me some suggestion…
