Hi, Thx for the docus i have a question i im using 3 Pcs 1 front end & 2 others are nodes and when i follow ur tuto i complete the installation i reboot the nodes & then ubuntu dont want to start , its blocked on the ubuntu logo & continue to loading for hours but nothing please respond

Phil,
It never happens unless we do something wrong.
When Grub is displayed, try to go through the recovery console and see if you can trouble shoot.
Once ubuntu boots through recovery console ,
1. just check /etc/fstab to ensure you did no mistake there.
2. from dmesg – tail see if some devices are failing
3. check you /var/log/ contentsIf you cannot get the grub, then you have two options
1. to use a ubuntu Live CD and try to debug the instances
2. Reinstall ubuntu.

thx for the reply i reinstalled ubuntu but now i have an error when i try to create vm with the ssh “ssh: Could not resolve hostname” i think its has something with the public because when try to ssh [node] its demand me password how i can fix it plz

I am new for open nebula. I want to set up private cloud using it. what is the first step? should i go to Debian or ubuntu for HOst os?Xen is comfortable or i have to select KVM? which is better? my objective is to learn about VM….

Tasks in a nutshell:
1. To install OpenNebula 3.6.0 in Ubuntu 12.04 Server
2. To prepare a Ubuntu 12.04 machine as a iSCSI target
3. To prepare a Ubuntu 12.04 machine as OpenNebula Node and install
iSCSI initiator in it.
4. To create a iSCSI Datastore and save a WINXP qcow2 image in it.
5. To create a Windows-XP VM
6. To add an additional DATABLOCK image to iSCSI Datastore and attach the
same to running Windows XP VM
7. To add an additional DATABLOCK to Default shared storage and attach the
same to running Windows XP VM

I try to create onehost at onevmhost server part….. i cannt create…it shows like..
oneadmin@onevmhost:~$ onehost create onevmhost –im im_kvm –vm vmm_kvm –net dummy
Connection refused – connect(2)
Give me some suggestion…

Hello Sir,
After very big battle i deployed vm in iscsi remote machine….. In this journey i learned more… This article is very good….. I would like to mention of EBS concept in aws, like that you made datablock attach to an windows that is super sir….. i am very happy at the end of this deployment of windows vm in iscsi and attache data block to that vm……
